A seated listening concert/game experience led by the music of “Matt Hagen’s Murder Ballad Band”. Each audience member will be given a bingo card upon entry to play along. The bingo game will be intertwined within the concert. Suspense of a winner will build throughout the night. There will in fact be two winners (one a victim, one the killer). 
Drinks (alcoholic and N/A) and food from Making the CuTx Barbecue and Lou’s Big Cannolli to be available for purchase & table seating will be available.

About the band: 
“Matt Hagen’s Murder Ballads” is an original, seasonal 6-piece band led by established Burlington musician and creative asset, Matt Hagen. Each performance is playfully sinister with storytelling and songs that are filled with murderous themes, mystery and comedic dark wit. The music is immersive and meant for intentional listening. 
Every October, fans and enthusiasts of the band wait to hear when and what Hagen plans to do with the group. Since 2019 they have traditionally played multiple weeks in October at Burlington’s, The 126. Each show is unique from the last.
In 2024, the band played 2 immersive shows that were recorded in front of a live studio audience at Tank Recording Studio. A bulk of that material is to be released on all streaming platforms by September 2026.
Last year, in an effort to grow the production, Hagen put together a “Murder Ballad Dinner” experience at Burlington’s Deep City restaurant and partnered with Foam Brewers. The event included dinner, a concert, an interactive element and was a sold out success. 
The band consists of highly talented and seasoned local and nationally touring musicians.
